anyone only planning on wearing their veil for the ceremony and not the reception? I think I am going to want to take it off. not sure if I want to keep it on during picture taking either. I feel like it will take away from my dress and be in my way. anyone one else feel this way and are only wearing for ceremony? Is it ok to do this?? Thanks

I thought i was going to take mine off, but i loved it so much, i kept it on the whole day.. didnt bother me a bit and it looked gorgeous

i wasnt keen on having a veil at all, so when i decided on a blusher for a little veil, i knew i was going to take it off. i put it on that day and i liked it, but it was in the way. while taking pics if someone put their arm around me it would pull on the veil. in turn, i have thin hair and it wasnt staying in very well. as soon as the first dance was over and it was bustle time that thing was off my head- quick.

Hummm, I think Im gonna take it off during the reception maybe not right away but maybe in the middle sometime.. I love to dance and they way i want my hair .. I want it to show . I have Thick long hair and I want to show it off LOL

i'm wearing a 1 tier cathedral length so i'm taking it off at reception but after the first dance. The bridal shop suggested this, they said to hold it over my arm for the dance for a 'romantic' effect... we shall see. what do you think? my gown does not have a long train so it shouldnt be a prob

I walked into my reception with my veil on and wore it for the first dance. After that it came off.

I have two veils... cathedrial and the blusher. I'm taking the cathedrial off after the first dance, keeping the blusher on.

I left it on all day. It didn't bother me, so I left it on. The decision is up to you and how you feel.
