Is anyone writing their vows?? I would LOVE to, but I can be so emotional and I know I will be a mess that day, I dont think I'll have it together enough to spit them out!

We are...bc every wedding we go to-- nobody says their own vows... i think it will be amazing to just say how you feel that day... i know i will be crying my eyes out and prob stuttering and my FH is a big baby as well.. but it will make for some great photo shots and video!! haha DO IT

I would LOVE to write my own vows......unfortunately, in the Greek church, there are no 'vows' at all, let alone written.....
If I were able to, I think I definitely would...I know it would be so emotional but I think it is amazing to hear when a husband and wife recite what the feel in front of everyone.....

We are getting married in a church so we are saying the normal/traditional vows. I am very traditional so I wouldn't have it any other way.

I wanted to write our own vows but FH ruled against that pretty quickly lol When he gets nervous he stutters and he knows he's going to be nervous that day so he doesn't want to do it because he probably won't be able to get the words out. He's so cute

ideally it would be awesome too... but then its one more thing to stress about & to work on & to worry about messing up!!! haha, so we're just sticking with the traditional vows

We are writing our own vows... I have been researching for forever...
BUT I am so scared we are going to chicken out... my FH is very shy and I am just emotional, but it was actually his idea, so we will see!

We are doing it the traditional way!!!!!!!! I couldn't even see myself writing my own vows...I'm going to be nervous and emotional as is already.
