Re: wedding website needed
I recently came across a site called Wed Me Do that I loved. I love the whole your own/shorter domain name (www.johnandjane.com vs www.johnandjane.ourwedding.com) and the flash that they use. However, I don't really want to be paying $59 for a year. FH and I both know people who do webdesign for a living, so we're going to ask them if they would be willing to help us out with this.

What are the pros and cons to creating a website? I wasn't going to make one.

Well some of the pros of having a site is that you can post information about your wedding and pre-wedding activities (date, time, location), accommodations, and directions. You can also link to your gift registries (which is considered rude to include in your invite) and share photos and stories about you and FH on there if you'd like. Also, if you want, you can have people RSVP via the website and if you have any information that you want people to know, but you don't want to write out in the invitation, you can put it there.
The main con of having a site is that all your information is out there for everyone to see, although I think you can password protect them and include the pw in the invite (depending on which service you go with).
