Wedding website on STD

Hi!

Did you include your wedding website on your STD? Do you think people realize it's there and actually go on the website for info?

My FMIL was asking me about the hotel block and I told her to check the website on the STD... she was like 'oh i thought that was just for your registry'

... I spent so much time on it... I hope people look!

it's funny you posted this because we have the same issue .. I think some people really are are oblivious!

And I was wondering why people weren't signing the guestbook!!

I put it on there, but honestly even if they notice it on there, not sure how many people will actually check it out

I plan on putting it on mine. I don't know how many people will log on but most likely the younger people of my family. The older ones are a little too technologically impaired lol. I can just picture some of my aunts calling up their kids and harassing them to figure out how to 'turn on the internet'

we included it - spent hours and hours building it and only 3 people have visited it including myself :(

How did you add the hotel info? Did the hotel give you something or did you DIY?

we are including our website for those who are internet savvy - the hotel did offer to mail us little info cards but we are gona prob use those for the actual invites!

We're putting it on ours...

(this is my marketing background talking) make sure you include a 'call to action.'

instead of just putting www.myweddingwebsite.com across the bottom, write' Please visit www.myweddingwebsite.com for more information'

I promise more people will look at it if you do!

I put the hotel info on my wedding website. I am also putting a room block card (provided by the hotel) in with the invitations.

I think I including the website address is a good idea. I know that whenever i see a website address on a STD, I always go look at it.

I got those same cards and am going to enclose them in the STD envelope, even though our website IS ON the STD. People aren't always smart.

I added an 'Accomodations card' with my save the dates, since we are having two weddings and some people are traveling from out of state, so I though people would ike to start planning early.

I included my wedding website on that card......
