Are any of you girls planning wedding weekend festivities? My wedding is sunday morning and I have some guests staying at the hotel from friday night until monday. I feel bad just leaving them there, is there something I can do to entertain them without breaking the bank?

Where will they be staying? Can they all (or some) chip in to rent a large SUV for the weekend so they can go places?
Weather permitting, can you have a BBQ?
And, it'll be perfect time for apple picking!

thats a good idea- maybe a bbq or something? the weather should still be nice at that time of year & people always like to eat

I like the BBQ idea. Also you could supply them with brochures on things to do on Long Island. They could plan pumpkin picking or go to a fall festival. theres always lots to do that time of year!

oops I didn't realize anyone responded to this, a bbq sounds good but I have a teeny co-op, I don't think it can fit everyone and I think it would also be a little too much stress right before my wedding (with the entertaining and cleaning up and all)

You can always create a brochure of all the fun things to do while they are here. The BBQ thing is fun too, or maybe take them out east and go for some wine tastings, this way you get get a hero from the deli and some drinks from a wholesaler (sam's club, costco) nominal fees. I am sure you will come up with some ideas. My wedidng is Saturday, yet I have OOT guests coming in friday, i have invited them to the rehearsal dinner, and some are staying till monday. On Sunday we are taking our guests by limo bus on wine tastings, but you dont have to go that extreme, you can just organize and say we will be here and here at what times. Then on monday, before my guests fly back, we are going to get together for lunch. If you have any questions feel free to FM me. Good luck
