Can someone explain to me what Wedding Wire is??? Is it another website like this one? I am curious.

I feel like wedding wire is more wedding planning centered (kind of like the knot) and not really forums like LI weddings is. I actually use wedding wire to keep track of my budget, but thats about it!

You can also use it to make a wedding website, which both LIW and the knot have as well.

i love weddingwire! I use it to track my budget and also host our wedding website. It also has reviews of vendors which are always helpful.

in my opinion, weddingwire is most useful for looking up reviews of different vendors.
Hmmm I think I will check out the budget tracker on that site now!

This! Also, it has the most useful budget tracking option I've ever seen. Much better than the one on The Knot and both of them are better than the one on this site!
It just has a really clean set-up so that you can find vendors more easily, and lots of reviews. I sort of use it as my go-to if I am looking for more information about a vendor. It was really helpful when I was first looking for Reception Halls and I hadn't been on this site yet!

haha.. try writing a negative review. The vendor can disbute it and they pull it for an 'investigation'.

THIS!!! I use it for the reviews as well. And if there is a bad review, the vendor can dispute it and tell their side of the story. it made me soooo much more confident in my vendors.

haha after i changed my phone number on here to 555-555-5555 they miraculously stopped calling ;)

OOOOO good call. One tried to threaten a lawsuit bc I was reporting that they do not negotiate. When I reminded her that I have a FM where she specifically states she doesn't negotiate her tune changed. However she must have also told the owner who in return must have flipped on her and then he offered me free services (which I politely declined since I already had my vendor).
