Re: Wedding withdrawal
Oh, I get sad for like a second but, then I am like so over it. It was a great feeling I went to Michaels this weekend and didn;t have to look at anything for the wedding it was great!

I have thought about this, and I would think it might be MORE stressful because it's not yours -- you are doing it for someone else and thus you are to blame if things go wrong, you know? For your own - it's just YOU, you know? I mean some people are harder on themselves but I know that when there are other stakes involved, other people depending on things going right, like WORK where I do a lot of planning and organizing ... I am more stressed out because it's not only ME I'd let down, it's someone else.

Re: Wedding withdrawal
Everyone I know is bugging me about this - they say, 'what are you going to do AFTER the wedding, it has been your obsession for over a year' ... eek! i felt depressed AFTER my shower and bachelorette party. The only good thing is I have Thanksgiving and Xmas to look forward to and maybe a trip to Florida around end of December... But yeah, I'm going to feel it big time!

Re: Wedding withdrawal
I don't miss the planning , but I wish I could have my reception and honeymoon over again .
I am enjoying watching other brides to be get married and looking at their pictures here on LIW
I am enjoying the newlywed part of the wedding being over. I don't miss the stress , or the bs that came with a lot of people and I think by the new year I will have all wedding related stuff out of my system

I think im going to feel it big time. Ive been planning obsessed for 2 years now. My only saving grace is that one of my friends and my sister are getting married after me. And also my sisters baby is due in March so i will be planning her baby shower after the holiday madness.

Re: Wedding withdrawal
It's my 2nd day back to work after my honeymoon and I am struggling. I have no idea what to do in my down time! I am going to have to come up with some sort of hobby to do to keep myself busy.

Re: Wedding withdrawal
i was thinking about this the other day. i haven't had it yet, but i'm sure i will once i'm back to work and not spending every free moment doing something wedding related. i know a few people engaged now and would love to help them out, so i might get a dose of wedding planning through them!
