Re: Wedding withdrawal
Oh sweety. It is sad to see it end, but the BEST day of your life hasn't come and gone....you still have so many more amazing days ahead of you! Like when you have babies!!
I get like this occasionally, and when I do I remember quickly how stressed out I was, how much my husband and I argued about the wedding, things that annoyed me!! And it makes me feel so much better about our relationship now. It keeps me grounded!!
Look at the pictures, watch your video, make things out of all the little stuff you got...the cards, ribbons, favors....there are a ton of little things to do to help the transition! I've started my scrapbooks, shadow boxes....lots of little stuff.

Re: Wedding withdrawal
I felt it in the beginning but lately I've been too busy to really dwell on it. I look at my proofs and my uncut video ALL the time, and it sure makes me feel like a Princess all over again

Re: Wedding withdrawal
Not me, I am happy the planning is done!
I am sure we would all love to do the actual day over 100 times though.
I look foward to other things now.

Re: Wedding withdrawal
I really didn't like the planning, mostly because I was so busy and and had very little help. I don't regret any of it because I loved my day but I'm glad its over. I don't have any withdrawal but it is weird not to have to plan anymore. I'm lucky in a way, my brother is getting married next year so I can still think about wedding stuff but without all the stress.

Re: Wedding withdrawal
I just wanna move in my with DH already!!!
It looks like the middle of September is a definite for us.
That means we will be married 3 1/2 months before we move in together!!!
GRRRRRRRRR!!!!!
I think that's what has me 'blue' more than the wedding being over. I feel like a part of my life is over----but I don't have the new part to take its place yet. So I have a great sense of loss. I'm not single anymore so I'm not doing 'single' things. I'm married, but I'm not doing 'married things.' I'm sure once we're together and start our new lives, the loss with shift into feelings of happiness over a new beginning.
This LIMBO crap is killing me though.
