did any of you girls go through the feeling of just being 'done' with the wedding/planning... i still have a little over a year to go and im just so sick of the planning and waiting... im stuck in this rutt.. did any of you girls go through this?? and if so how did you get out of it??

cool off! with a little over a year left i'm sure you can afford to take a few days off and be a couch potatoe and do nothing wedding related. it'll help to collect yourself and take a break!

I've gone through it many times! I just can't wait for it to be over at this point! I still have so much to do and I don't even know where to start! I will be the happiest woman in the world on August 3rd! Well maybe August 4th cause I have to pay my RH the bar bill for my OOT guests on the 3rd!

I did. I've been engaged since June '05 and about April of '06 I had just about had it. There was nothing really left to do and with a year and 1/2 to go I was wishing the time to speed up. Now that I am 4 months away I am wishing the time to slow down a bit!

thanks girls im just really surprised.. i havent really done much of anything i booked the hall, church dj and photo.. thats it! ...lol i havent done anything in the past 4 months or so.. just glad to know im not the only one that feels this way at some point in ttime!

for me it has come in highs and lows... if you are in a rut i suggest you take a wedding break...you have plenty of time to spare

Yes, yes and yes. I planned my wedding in 8 months and by Feb/March I didnt do anything for almost a month. Sometimes you just need a break.

I said the same thing. I was and still am fed up but what i did when there was still over a year left I took the planning a little everyday that way your not overwhelmed and at times your still talking about the wedding and enjoying it more. I also gave myself every other weekend to take time off from it. You'll be fine and believe me the time is going to go faster than you would think. Congrat!!! and relax!!!
