Wedding World

Has anyone had any experience with Wedding World? They seem to offer all their services for a decent price, however I was just wondering if anyone had any negative or positive feedback from them? I am just starting to plan and would appreciate any advice...

We used them. They are very nice but they 'plan' everything. You cant meet the photographer until a certain time before the wedding, which is bad because they all do side jobs and could be booked by then, so your stuck with someone you didnt really want. The flowers we are not doing from there although I heard they are really good. Invitations came out so lovely. Thats not their doing, just their ordering. Tuxedos, nice but FI had a major attitude problem with the guy in that dept. He would be nasty when FI was calling to set up appts for his ushers. Favors are a good deal, I think. We made our own but after I found out the price of the favors includes a box and wrapping!! We didnt know that at the time. Video seemed fine but we went elsewhere. DJ we did through them, Mike is wonderful. All in all, they are very nice to deal with and they give you a courtesy pick up either from the reception to home or from home to the airport. I am sure the price is included there somewhere :P I would price around though first and see what you can get. We used their photographer and he does sidework, now I heard more is included when you use him and not them. He has a second guy who comes around with him and does black and whites. His price is more though. Price around, see what you get and if you cant do better, use them. Again, its hassle free, they are very nice, just know what you are getting.

thanks for your advide. My fiancee's cousin used them and swears by them. She told us to request Joe V for the photography. Have you heard of him? We did want to use black and white photos as well. We are probably going to be using Wedding World for the invitations, photography, videography, limis, and flowers. Thanks again and if you hear of anything else, please let me know.

We are using them also. I agree with Leyann...you can not meet with anyone before they schedule it for you. We got a great price...we are using a photographer, videoguy, flowers, and tuxes. so far (crosses my fingers) everything has been working out relly well. The only problem is that the photographer that we booked, is no longer working there. I was very angry when I found out....they didnt call, I called to make an appt with him and they kept calling him John. I said our photographer was Steve. thats when I found out that our photgrapher had been changed. But they did give us our second choice. Other than that I have not had any problems. Lisa, I didn't know that Steve left!!? Can you recommend anyone else? I was using him per your advice! I will be down for a wedding on Sept 6th and planning to meet with her again to do the flowers and probably the limo. Will let you know how it goes.... Nancy

Your photographer John, is it John Pagano? If so, I dont think you need to worry. I booked him and a few others did too. Stef did, he is also VIP Studios on the side so you can check him out. I met him before I booked him and he did great work and I am very happy so far.
