Has anyone used Wedding World. I saw them at a bridal show and was just looking for some advice on people who are planning on using them or have already used them.

Re: Wedding World?
That's the place in Commack right? I shopped there for Bridesmaid dresses. The prices are good and they have a lot, but the store is cramped and kind of warehouse-y, not real nice. And the customer service was not the best, they did help us but two of the women who worked there were like, fighting with each other, one was talking on her cell phone. We ended up buying our dresses at Helen's Wedding World instead, the price was good and the service was sooo much better!

Re: Wedding World?
I really liked the tuxedo guy (Vito) at Helen's Wedding World, and Liz in the bridal gown section was a sweetheart, but didn't have such a happy experience with everyone else. The man that runs the bridal gown section wouldn't let me look at BM dresses because 'i didn't order my gown there, and it wouldn't be right.' And the women in invitations weren't willing to show me things when I mentioned what I liked...they told me to look through all the books THEN talk to them!
I don't know about any other depts. though.
Just to clarify- wedding world is on AUSTIN blvd- it is also known as Helen's Wedding World-
they are NOT affiliated with The Wedding Center in Commack.

Re: Wedding World?
I loved them for my bridesmaid dresses! They were very nice and efficient, but not pushy at all! and they gave us a discount on the dresses
My dad got his tux there too- and they were really good -the guy in charge- the older man- Vito-was so nice- gave my dad 3 ties to take home to show me- lol- and was able to return them all after the wedding-

Re: Wedding World?
This place is SO AMAZING!!! Everyone there is so nice and attentive. Whenever my FH goes into make a payment they know who he is. Anna Polumbo is the greatest, andLiz inside Helen's is also great. I went into Helens once to try on a dresses and found one that I fell in love with, but I left w/o ordering it. I wanted to to try on other dresses and make sure that was THE ONE. When I went back several weeks later, Liz remebered me and the exact dress I had tried on and fell in love with. I am telling everyone that is getting married to go to Wedding World, it will make your life (while planning the wedding) so much less stressfull!

Re: Wedding World?
I was so not a fan of them. I thought that their quality was much lower than just booking your vendors separately and you really don't get that much of a better price. Plus, my first impression of the place when I walked in was that I was back in the 80's.
