Re: wedding world?

i had gone there earlier this year and tried on a lot of dresses. the woman wrote all the ones i liked on a card, but when i called two days later to get a designer name for one of them, she had no clue who i was and could not find any record of a card! I ended up going to burton's bridals and paid about 30.00 less for the dress, which included alterations (w/out hem). I am glad i didn't go with them, however, many people i know in the past used them w/out problems, including my sil who got her wedding dress there 5 years ago. it all depends - it is hard to judge on one incident, but i wasn't happy with them and much happier with burtons. good luck!

I have never known anyone who had a good experience there. There have been girls here that have liked them, I wouldn't get anything for my wedding there--- again, JMO

I used to work there, but in the photograhpy dept putting albums together. Its been a couple of years now, but I thought a lot of people were happy. The flowers were beautiful, and the people were really nice.
Make sure you're not getting confused with the Wedding Center. Now that place on the other hand.... i will NEVER EVER step foot in there again. What a mess. I've never heard anything positive from there. I actually worked there for one day, and quit. They did everthing I was taught not to do in all of my Guest Service experience. The place is awful. JMO though!

personally, i never trust the people who call to tell me i've won something - no matter what it is! if i don't remember entering my name especially!
maybe i'm too cynical....but i dont' trust that sort of thing!

My husband and I used Wedding World for your photography, video, flowers and tuxes. WE got a good deal but if we could do it all oaver agin, we would have looked for a different photographer. Not that our pics were bad...they actually vey beautiful, but they are just typical pictures. Nothing spectacular. We werent too happy with our video either but I figure the maybe 10 times that we watch it, its worth it!!

EVERYONE that we dealt with there was fantastic.
I do have to say that our flowers were FANTASTIC. I choose all silk for everyone and people could not believe that they werent real.

If you are looking to save $$ and are on a tight budget, then that is the place to go, but if you can tighten the belt a little, and cough up the extra $$$ for a photgrapher, I say do it!!

Feel free to FM me if you have any questions.
