How many of you ladies are doing these? Do you do them if you aren't getting married in a church? Are they just for the ceremony? What type of info do you include? Is this just something extra to print & pay for or are there some added benefits of having one?
Please help!

Re: Wedding/Ceremony Program Help
I am getting married in a church and I bought kits for the programs from Michael's to print myself. We are having about 250 people at our wedding, but will only make 150 programs. We figure a lot of people don't take programs and others don't come to the church. We are including names of everyone who is included in the Mass, order of the ceremony, titles of readings and hymns.
It's not essential, but as someone who attends ceremonies, I like to have something to follow along with.
Hope this helps!

Its also a good place to explain things that are going on in the ceremony (particularly religious rituals/symbols). Also, I keep them as a souvenir, though I don't know if people who aren't wedding obsessed would do this.

Re: Wedding/Ceremony Program Help
i am doing one...but probably something i am making myself. I think it is nice to have the bridal party listed and to have a little 'thank you for being part of our special day' paragraph. I also plan on putting info about the ceremony as most of our friends are not Jewish

We are going to do simple, tea length programs. Most explaining the Jewish traditions taking place during the ceremony. Alot of our guests arent Jewish so I thought it would be nice to explain, so people understand...!

same boat- about 50% of our guests are not jewish, and I want to make sure they understand what's going on
