If you were on FOUR WEDDINGS, would your wedding win? What do you have at your wedding that you think would secure the WIN?
Of course I would like to think I would win. I know JT has AMAZING food. I would definite got that in the bag. I just hope the girls I am going against are from like OHIO and don't do weddings like NY does ha

I think I'd win... FG has great food and gorgeous garden areas. I def. plan on having nice flowers, dress, etc, so I think I'd win for best dress and experience too.

My cousin was actually in a wedding of a contestant of the show....THEY WON, but after knowing how much money they actually put into their wedding to win was actually a little ridiculous!
Someone I know just won the episode two weeks ago (at Russo's) - they spent around $90,000

It's all about who you're up against I think. Also I have seen some girls on there be kind of sneaky and low ball the experience scores and give other brides last place in categories they definitely shouldn't have.
PS - That Russo's episode was awesome. All the girls seemed really nice and it was a good show. The week after that all the girls were such wenches it was hard to watch lol

thats too funny! i had a friend from college i think on the show too...although, didn't love her choices -- she was on recently and is the one who had santa come to her wedding. it might have been the same episode as the russo's one, not sure.
on another note, im not sure about most of the things they judge on yet but i'll keep you posted. i am more simple and classic taste though so i probably wouldn't win against the people who spend a fortune or have more originality, but thats not us -- we like traditional and classy. it'll be a beautiful wedding but not one with circus performers or pirates or other ridiculous things ive seen on the show.

I would definitely not win, and I am okay with that. My FH and I are VERY low-key and having a backyard wedding. No huge CH, or DJ favors or cake ladies for us! We really wanted to keep it simple and sweet. It seems that the more over-the-top weddings tend to win on the show. I am also doing a lot of things very non-traditional, so I could see losing because of skipping certain 'wedding-y' things.

I think i would probably take the Overall Experience category! So far in the planning we aren't doing anything too out of the ordinary but between the beautiful church, the great food at the venue and our great DJ I'd be hopeful that everyone would leaving knowing they had a great time!
