Wednesday QOTD

Hello Ladies,

Here is a light question.

I have enjoyed the planning in general, but sometimes its hard!

My biggest obstacle has been getting days off for certain things: Picking out the tux, going for the tasting...all of these have to be done on a weekday. And not to mention making sure my mother feels included

So the question of the day is:

What has been your biggest challenge in planning the wedding?

easy everyone's oponions getting in the way of a time that should be happy. Ive lost it a few times

My biggest challenge is my own fault because I'm anal. So it would have to be my overall decor... from flowers to linens, lighting and all those extra things I'm doing.

in my case! it would be my MOH!!
she was having lots of issues in her life in the begining of my engagment (still is) so she really hasnt been much of a MOH!!
got preggers, married and a-hole...just and emotional disaster!
she did nothing really to help plan my shower, and was never available when i need her to come with me places or do anything wedding related! we never talked about anything about my wedding because it was all about her!
Luckily my SIL stepped up and took control!

she has been somewhat better recently! but just not what a maid of honor should be!
but i love her to death despite her stinking as a MOH!! lol

The biggest challenge for me BY FAR was the guestlist. What a PITA that was.

So far, the biggest challenge is just finding the time to do stuff. FH and I both work crazy hours and have lots going on after work too. Add looking for a house to the mix, and it just makes the pressure insane.

I did all of those things on the weekends.

What has been your biggest challenge in planning the wedding?

For me, the hardest thing has been having FH so far away. I miss him so much while planning everything.

Everything else has fallen together pretty smoothly. Sure, there have been a few little bumps, but in general everything has gone very well and smoothly!

My wedding party! My Godfather (who is giving me away) and my three cousins who are groomsmen are in Florida and my ring bearer is in Germany (and doesn't speak English) and my Flower Girl is currently thirteen months and just doesn't communicate yet.

i hated dress shopping..im not a dress kinda girl and i hated the way they all looked on me...but eventually i found one that i loved

I can't really say that I have any challenges thus far since I started planning the wedding a year ago. If I had to pic one is getting my bm's to commit to dates. I don't bother them at all for wedding stuff but getting together is like hearding cats. b/c of everyone's schedules. Other than that, everything is cool and the girls are the best!

Definitely getting FH to cooperate with me. He has made this entire process so difficult for me, and it makes me upset because I was so looking forward to doing this and he's pretty much just made it miserable. Even when he finally does start to cooperate, he has to turn at the very last second and make things hard again.

This weekend we are going to see limos to book, and I specifically asked him if there was anything going on for the holiday weekend, and he said no, so I made the appointment Friday evening. Now since his family are last minute charlies, they're going to the beach Friday, the whole clan of 17, and he's all pissed off and says it's stupid that we can't go because we have an appointment and wants me to cancel. I said if he didn't put it off so long in the first place, we could go to the beach, and I am not cancelling it because we have tried to meet with this poor man on 3 separate occasions now and I'm not changing it again.

So see....just difficult, stupid stuff like that has been my main challenge!

The biggest challenge for me has been dealing with other people's pressures to get things done, it really stresses me out. I have also learned who my true friends are by who is willing to help, who genuinely cares, and who showed up to my bridal shower.
