Who has been the most helpful person to you in your wedding planning process? Anyone surprising?
______________________
My mother has been extremely helpful in every regard.
However, a really helpful person has come as a surprise. FH is 41 (I turn 30 next month). He has had the same best friend since 6th grade. The best friend is our best man. Best man's wife has been SO helpful. We weren't that close before this began (she's 9 years older than me, 2 young kids, stay at home mom, we are in very different places in our lives), but we have gotten SO close. She is so helpful. We talk or email or IM nearly every day, and she just has such great ideas, and is so supportive and helpful.

Re: Wednesday Question of the Day
Actually one of my cousins was so amazing for me - she came over & hand measured 150 satin napkins to make sure each one was folded to the exact same measurement & steam-ironed them - helped me put the rhinestone buckles on the ribbons, wrap the ribbons around the napkins, and secure the ribbons w/the glue dots...the ironing & measuring in itself took like 5 hours - the rest took another 3-4 hours - if I didnt have her help I would have been lost - I am forever grateful to her & I know I am in her debt!

I'd have to say it was YOU ALL here on LIW... really, no single person IRL stands out to me. I did so much myself. I bounced a ton of ideas off my MOH (and apologized a lot for bugging her) but really so much more came from the advice, support, and guidance of you gals!

My cousin. She was a BM and was by far the most helpful person around me! I was so lucky to have her in my Bridal Party!

Re: Wednesday Question of the Day
my DAD!! He can't really help with much, but anything he can get his hands on he's super into.
Example, I have the RSVPs going to my parents house and he literally sends this ridiculously colored coded spreadsheet on a daily basis to keep me posted. It's beyond cute!!!

When I honestly think of it I do have to say: my dear husband! From finding the invite that mirrors the detail on my dress to giving ideas on what to get for the girls. He and my BFF bridesmaid hands down; they helped tremendous!
