***Wednesday's QOTD*** :o)

girls!! omg, i'm so sorry but i had the worst morning!! my alarm didn't go off, my mom happened to call me to say hello/good morning about 10 minutes before i was supposed to be on the road! and somehow i managed to get myself done and on the road in 12 minutes. a small miracle! i have no idea how i did that either!

SO...please forgive the late day question!

Who's the romantic one? and who's the sentimental one? Both of you? Neither? or somewhere in between? Were you surprised by FH in either way?

My answer:

I think we have moments of each in both of us. I'm a hopeless/ful romantic with definite major sentimentality. FH... when i first met him, he was this firefigher guy from queens...gruff and tough and a boxer... but quickly surprised me by showing major romantic qualities...our second valentine's day he turned our kitchen into an italian cafe and made me a delicious dinner (even printed up a menu and put a cafe sign on the front door! TOO cute!!) and as far as him being sentimental... surprisingly he's REALLY so. he even saves the cards i've given him and refuses to part with a t-shirt i bought him 6 years ago, even though it's ugly, stained and so faded you can't read it anymore. Stuff like that...makes him so adorable.

Its me in every area. Im a hopeless romantic, even though I never get any. I have high hopes. FH was always that way though, so I already knew he wasnt a hopeless romantic like me....

i think we r equally romantic but im def more sentamental

he has done a few whoppers over the years that really got me but nothing will ever pass the proposal he did

Neither one of us is particularly romantic. I guess I make more of an effort to plan nice surprises, though he has done a few in the past too. So we're even.

We're also pretty even sentimentally. We both save little mementos from throughout the year, just I'm more organized so I do a better job of keeping them lol. I'm definitely more emotional, but that's an entirely different animal.

We're both romantics, but FH really takes the cake in the romance department-he writes me love letters over email-he just wrote me on monday after the shower how much its sinking in, and how he can't wait for us to start our lives together and have a family

And I'm the more sentimental-I get teary over everything!

I was surprised at how romantic FH is-he LOVES buying cards for holidays and really takes time to choose the 'right one'. Plus he brings home flowers and cupcakes once in a while..He's sooo thoughtful.

I am very very lucky!

hmm going to have to go. . FH for both. . I def have romantic and sentimental moments but FH is so consistently romantic. . always thinking of me, saves things from EVERYTHING we have done. .
