Week two of unemployment and I am going mad...

I can't stand being home. I hate it! My cats are running around chasing each other, they hardly acknowledge me. I am just bored. I should clean but I can't even get motivated to do that.

I am ready for a job!

I can imagine! One week is kind of like vacation, but week two boredom sets in.

ETA: Good luck! Have you seen any good listings of jobs?

I have sent in a bunch of resumes and some LIW ladies have been so kind as to help me wherever they work. I also had the misfortune of having to go to Ohio for a few days for my Grandmother's funeral this week.

Why is it sunny outside but it still can't brighten my day?

aww, I know its cold, but go for a walk! When I have time off I love going out & seeing what people who don't work in the daytime do!

I love being home and I wouldn't be stressed at all if DH didn't want me to get a job.

What type of job are you looking for? Maybe I can send your resume in to hr here...

As for your cats, they're probably not use to having you at home everyday. You took away their privacy.
