Weekend?

Did everyone have a nice long weekend?

How was Salsa Squared for those who went?

I went apple/pumpkin picking and out to supper on Saturday.

I also went to lunch and took my boys to the movies on Sunday.

Yesterday was cooking and cleaning. I made good brownies, awesome meatballs and horrible apple crisp.

All in all a good time was had by moi.

I had just a regular length weekend.

It wa snice, though. Salsa Salsa wa sdelish as always, but I am a late jerk.
I went shopping at Tanger with my moms on Sunday- spent too much money on Victor. Got him a really cool Grandpa sweater though.
Didn't cook dinner ever. All weekend. I like that.

the weekend was pretty good (and way long)

Thursday was the drive to North East, PA...approx 8 hours, plus a side trip to an outlet center...spent a few hours there too (bought three sweaters)

Friday: winery visits in PA/NY...the good, the bad, and the ugly. they did have a few nice whites, and we tasted ONE nice red...brought a few bottles home.

Saturday: horseback riding in the AM and then my bro's wedding at night (see other post)

Sun: left early, visited the bomb's uncle who lives east of Pittsburg (first time for me...LOVE them). got home around 10:30 pm

Mon: day wedding at the Crest Hollow. very nice.

all in all, pretty nice.

i hope to do the apple picking/baking thing this weekend.

She is a late jerk.

I also had a regular sized weekend. You always seem to get off for every damn holiday.

I had an enjoyable weekend overall. Sans the gangrene.

Friday, I stayed home and worked.

Saturday I was a lady who lunches/early dinners. I got my horrendous eyebrows threaded. Did laundry. My family was over on Saturday night.

Sunday everyone went home, including the doggies we were sitting all week for. The apt was quiet again. So we left. We went to the fall festival in Huntington. Hung out with Dottie. Ate festival food. Went grocery shopping. Cooked turkey stew, and chili. Worked.

I discovered that my solar car charger works - SWEET

I had Yucca fries - I rate them a 9/10. If they came with multiple dipping choice options, then they would be a 10

Teemu thinks carpet = Grass. NOT COOL. He is so lucky he has a cute face. His new fun game is tackling Jack - who seems to love it. They are boyfriends.

I too had a regular sized weekend.

I can't count Friday, just a regular weeknight for me.

Saturday had brunch with some friends, had a lovely time. Neighbors were having a garage sale so we walked over, they were nice and let us take stuff without paying, I got a hat. Mom came over for a chat. Listened to K play with his new drums. Then we went out to dinner with friends, another lovely time.

Sunday was all about R&R. Only left the house to do some food shopping. Watched the Giants beat the Jets!! Played with the Kasey. Came up with the idea to add broccoli to Hamburger Helper, it was good!! Watched the Yankees beat the Indians, at least they didn't get swept.

This weekend was the best's bachelorette party weekend so we had a slumber party on friday with too much tequila.

THEN, on Saturday we went to La Mela in Little Italy YUMMY!!!! and then to SOL

The idea of going to a club was a little scary since I haven't been in ages, but it was A LOT of fun.

I tried mind erasers. . .then. . .

I was hired to do an ad for Bud Light apparently:

then Sunday was my cousin's 2nd birthday party and one of the little rugrats gave me deadly germs which is why i am home sick right now

THEN we celebrated FH's birthday - first he was mopey bc I missed his actual birthday because of the party. . . but THEN he was super giddy bc i got him a scary monstrous flat screen that is so hideous
