i'm meeting with a photographer tomorrow morning and then i'm going to try on wedding dresses for the first time EVER! any tips?

just have fun. don't stress, try on everything. don't be stuck on what you want, be open minded and try on what the BA brings you too. if you hate it, take it off and move on.
water, strapless bra and no see through panties. :)

when u go see ur photographer, u'll notice they have packages. Don't be afraid to take ur time and add for extra things to be included in ur packages, sometimes if the vibe of the photographer and u/FH is good, they can throw u freebies

thanks, ladies. i'm going tomorrow to get an idea of what style looks good on me, so i will be trying on the whole store! i probably won't make any decisions until october when my mom comes to into town.

as for dresses, i made an appointment at priscilla of boston. i have appointments in october at kleinfeld, the bridal garden and saks.

Photographer: take the package and if you don't like it ask to tweak it. if they say no then it might be a bad sign. We weren't enamored by parts of the packages that our photographer had, we spoke up, and he ended up dropping over 30% on the price and gave us extra stuff to make up for what we didn't want.
Dress: have fun, and keep an open mind. Also, don't be afraid to speak your mind - if you don't like a dress but like parts explain that. It'll help you hone in on the right one. And don't be disappointed if you don't find it right away. You get to do this once in your life (well, in theory anyway) so take your time...some stores let you take pix, other's 'don't' but the consultant sometimes conveniently has to 'go to the bathroom', and others are strict about it. So bring a camera and ask.
Most of all, have fun!!!!!!

I was so excited too - its a teeny tiny apartment, completed hidden-no air conditioner, about 1000 dresses in so tight you can barely pull them out, in compressed vacuum sealed bags.. categorized by size and nothing else..PATIENCE. But if you have it.. do it. my friend came home with a $1000 blinged out beautiful vera wang dress..

when i called, the girl said it was small, but i didn't think it was going to be like a teeny apartment. i normally don't have patience, but i guess it's worth a shot to try to get a designer gown for cheaper than the other stores.
do you have your dress already? where did you go?

As for photogs... look into all the aspects they offer... if they have a package you seem to like dont be afraid to ask for the extras... you might luck out and have them add it on for you....
also dont be discouraged when you look at their albums and your not thrilled with the work.... ask to see another photographers albums and maybe you iwll like thier style better....
most of all HAVE FUN!!!!! its an awesome experiance!!!!

DEF go !! There was also alot of people there, they double booked. I was getting claustrophobic lmao!! You may find the perfect designer gown! I thought about going back and giving it another try, but i dont know..
Ive been to kleinfelds,bridal garden, rk bridal,bridal reflections carle place & massapequa. I found one dress i love in kleinfeld, one i love in bridal reflections carle place.. have not purchased yet! I need to make a few more stops first.
