Hi Ladies!! So every April my fiance takes me away for the weekend. Nothing fancy! Usually we like small towns (main street types) with cute shops and restaurants, by the water typically. We have done north fork, sag harbor, and new hope. Looking for a new spot this year!!! Also, nothing longer than a 2 hour drive from Nassau County. Any suggestions?!?!? Thanks =)

im not sure how far away lake george is (i was so young when i went with my parents)..but it was so much fun and i remember outlets there! (i listened to spice girls the whole way-THAT LONG AGO) lol

lol that was so sweet of you thank you!!! we went to LG with friends 2 summers ago its like 5 hours away lol. and I meant more like antique shops, country/small town style. I can go to the mall any day lol!!!! and what's shawnee ct like??

Have you done Montauk? FH went over the summer and there are cute shops, etc there but also on the way there. We stopped at 3 or 4 little quirky / antique shops as we drove through the Hamptons

What about Cape Cod? A friend is getting married up there and she always raves about how gorgeous it is in the spring and fall...I've honestly never been there.

hyde park ny!!!!!!!!! You have to go to the culinary institute of america. FH and I always go to the hyatt in grenwich ct!!!!

You have to go to the culinary institute they have really good rest on the campus!! The campus is also on the hudson river and it is amazing!!!! It is very close to rhinebeck where there are lots of little shops.
