weekend getaway

i am looking to take my hubby away for our 1 year anniversary. i was looking at expedia, cheaptickets, etc.
i don't really want to spend that much money -so as cheap as possible would be terrific.
i was looking into florida or i would even stay somewhere nearby if it were comporable in price.

the best deal i found was in ft. lauderdale with flight and hotel for like 550.

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

what if you look into someplace NORTH of here?

New Hampshire/Vermont/ even Maine is beautiful in August... stay somewhere on a lake, and you can swim, jet ski, etc. It's fun!
