I start school in a few weeks and me and Fh usually go to MIAMI at this time of the year .. but this yr it was too much so ... does anyone have any nice weekend getways ... i was thinking the poconos ?

AC is nice .. we went there for our last weekend getaway ... lol .. I am looking for places in the poconos now ... some are kinda pricey .. almost 600 a night ??? FOR THAT I WOULD HAVE WENT TO MIAMI

there is a place by camel back ski resort that i have stayed in and it wasnt soo pricey...the most expensive places were the ceasars that have jacuzzis in the room (like the champange tub). what about lancaster pa...that should be cheap as well

camel back is where i was looking... i am going to look up Ceasars i like the jacuzzi in the room

09er crashing, FH and i stayed at this beautiful b&b in conncticut*, and another in PA... it was in the lancaster area...and totally worth every penny. Is there a specific place you are looking to stay? There aren't many 'Hiltons' etc around the nice areas...

look into a cruise out of florida.. maybe u can find airfare for cheap..
if u tell me the exact dates i can prob find somethign super cheap.
i flew to florida for the day and it cost me 40$ round trip

what !!!!! BARB YOUR MY NEW TRAVL AGENT LOL !!! I think thurs through sunday ... 15th -18th or 22-25 ....i think he wants to stay local ... but if fl has great prices let me know ....

somewhere in new england might be nice like the others suggested (new hampshire, vermont, boston) or newport, rhode island is really nice. i went to school there and its a really cool town
