Did anyone do this? What church and how much $$$ was it? My church only does the 6 week course and it's going to be a hassle to come out to LI for six weeks because we live in Brooklyn. I'd rather get it done with in a weekend.

$195 in brooklyn... I think St. Finbar's does teh Friday/ Saturday session

can you do it at a church by you? My church is an hour away from me on LI but they said I can take it at a church close to me and just bring them the certificate
A lot of churches do this, you can see a listing on the Diocese of Rockville Centre website. I think its around $300
Mine is $50 for a Friday/Saturday session in November. It's at St. Anthony's on Oceanside. I am not sure what their rules are as far as belonging to the parish and whatnot. If you're interested I suggest calling them to see what their rules are.
