Weekend wedding checks
My MOH threw me a beautiful bridal shower at Novita in Garden City on Sunday. It was lovely and everyone had a wonderful time! I was totally overwhelmed by the whole thing! It took me almost half an hour to stop shaking haha - and it wasn't even a surprise!!
For the ladies looking for bridal shower dresses (the non-surprise showers, of course) - i used Rent the Runway for the shower and it was really great. I rented a beautiful white dress. I knew i wouldn't wear one again so I didn't want to spend the money or time buying something. They send you the dress you choose in 2 sizes, and a back up dress, in case you need another option. I also got a really pretty necklace that they picked out for me based on my dress choices. It was super easy and i was really happy with everything.
Oksana did my make up and it was gorgeous. If you haven't done makeup yet take a look at her stuff. I've done a trial with her, my engagement pictures and my shower and I've loved my makeup every time. Plus shes just a wonderful human being which makes it extra great.
After the shower FH, FBIL, MOH/sister, mom and I stuffed our invitations and they are on their way today. Luckily FH is off Mon/Tues since he is in school and he will take them to the post office.
We finally got our beautiful Flower Girl in her polka dot dress and we are so excited! She looked adorable. I ordered a matching suspender/bowtie combo for our ring bearer off etsy.
FFIL booked our rehearsal dinner for Fiore in Floral Park. We went there on Saturday and the food was amazing!!
ANDDD we did Pre-Cana Friday and Saturday!
