*FH's 30th is offically booked! I am now working on plans for after the party, invites, cake, favors and a menu for the family party...

*mom got her dress!!!! she looks stunning in it!!!
(i will post pics later!)

*FH and I saw a suit/tux that we loved!

*i got to go look at my dress again and swoon haha

*engagement party plans are coming along! my dress should be in this week!

FI and I are trying to coordinate a day to meet with the priest to book the church and also pick a day to do our E-Pics.

I am very happy about going dress shopping in CT with my mom this Sunday . I think my cousin and SIL will be coming as well. We are going to Something Blue Bridal Boutique in Southbury. They were the only place I could find that had 3 of the main dresses I want to try on. I am going to call them again today to confirm that all three dresses have arrived at the store (last I spoke with them, they had already ordered the samples are were on their way to the store).

FH and I officially booked the church yesterday for 2:30 pm on 9/24/11

Engagement announcement proofs are in, waiting for FH to say he likes them and we'll approve them today. I can't wait to get them!

Our Engagement party is coming sooner than later (September is almost over! ).

I got a nice bonus at work so I'm going to put it towards a down payment on flowers (still need to find a florist though) and the rest in my wedding fund. Very excited about this!

No updates here either....except that it appears that the best man has brainwashed the FH into getting a party bus, instead of a limo, for the wedding. I knew something like this would happen eventually. Everything was going way too smoothly, and the FH and I were agreeing on everything wedding related, including getting a classy white limo for the bridal party. But in the middle of dinner Saturday night with some friends, including FH, MOH, and best man, this new revelation came to light. So, of course, I have a bridezilla moment in front of everyone stating that when he gets married he can have 5 party buses with stripper poles if he'd like, but this is not his wedding, and there will be no party bus!!!! I know I may be making a big deal out of nothing, but I was truly frustrated!!! We all have a vision of our weddings, mine simply did not include me stepping out of a party bus!!! And my FH agreed, until his friend had this bright idea. He always seems to cause some kind of drama between my FH and me, we always end up arguing over something when the best man is around. I don't get it!!!!! This post has turned into a vent, lol, but I really needed it!! I feel lighter already! I hope that by the time we book limos in December, the party bus idea will be long forgotten. Tonight, the FH starts confirmation classes at the church! Lol

No real update for me...going to be on Long Island this Saturday for a week so my mom and I are going to look at hotels for our huge amt of OOTs and maybe look at some possible favors she's scoped out for me.

I'm saving the other big things like DJs, flowers for Dec/Jan when i come home again!

How are they price wise? I spent way over budget on everything else. I need to stay under $2000 with flowers but I have a big bridal party so I think I'm going to have a hard time staying within budget.

Congrats that's awesome!!!

Nothing too new here - I did a little work to see how the DIY invites will come out. I just did the main part, not any of the inserts. I also ordered more paper bc I think I'm gonna switch the colors around. I'm feeling a little more confident that this will be possible but A LOTTTTT of work!
