but should i still go get trays of cookies for each table?

Personally I would, cause i know sometimes i like to have both a cupcake and a cookie (eventhough i shouldn't be eating either), its a nice added extra

Go for it. You have people like me that would have a slice of cake, a 2 cupcakes, and a ton of cookies. And then you have people with self control that will just have one (or just like one).

Maybe you can put the cookies out a little earlier in the day/evening to spread out the time you'll have the deserts out too?

thanks. i think friday i'm just going to go to silver lake and get something for each table. i'd rather have more than not enough.

i'm figuring less than 50 bucks if i go to silver lake, we've only got 6 tables luckily

ok, so how big of a tray should i get for each table? looking at their site they have trays that are 1.5-2.5 lbs each. would that be too big? i dont want too many left overs

between the cupcakes and the cake, the 1.5 lbs of cookies should be enough, but it really depends on how many at each table??

I just looked at the site and i would go with the 1.5 pd tray, especially because you have cake and cupcakes

i would get the cookies so they have a choice, but i agree that 1.5 pd is more than enough!

i really want to see pictures of your cupcake tree!! i can't wait!

Ok, so at my eparty we can cupcakes, cake and cookie trays. No one touched the cupcakes and barely ate the cookies. The cake was completely gone. I would say you might be wasting your money on the cookie trays.

for my eparty I had the cupcakes, cake and cookies...
Everything (and when i say everything...everything) went...
We got two small cookies platters (you know, the kind that is wrapped in celophane...) and ALL of the cookies were eaten...
From all the desserts I had at the party I only had about a quarter of the cake left to take home...

Sorry I should have stated, we had a cookie tray on each table, we had 14 tables.

So maybe if you did what Gaby did, only 2 or 3 big trays.

I don't think you'd need cookies with cake & cupcakes! But there are some odd people who don't like cake and only like cookies... depends on who you're inviting and their taste.

I personally don't think you need cookies on top of a cake & cupcakes.

well the cake is canoli filling, which i know people either love or hate. i may look into the big trays instead of the smaller ones, i'll let everyone know tomorrow!
