Have any of you lost more than 20 lbs between ordering your dress and your 1st fitting. Did the place have to order a new dress or did the seamstress work some magic?

i just went for my first fitting on monday. i had asked the seamstress about that. i have thyroid disease and i have to go next month to a endocronologist. i know people with this and they said the medication they put you on makes you loose alot of weight. and the seamstress said they would be able to work with me. i can loose but i cant gain(duh)

I lost about 15- and I am only 5'1- I want to lose 5 more- it should be fine- I tried my dress on last week and it needed to be taken in but nothing drastic- besides that I didn't fill out the top AT ALL
but my dress is also pretty simple-

I did. I would suggest a corset dress. Thats what I had and it looked great when she was done and she did it about 1 week before the wedding

seamstresses can work their magic. for some reason kleinfeld's ordered me a 10 (i'm normally a 2!) so it was huge on me at first but it turned out fine (and ironically in the end a bit too tight!)

not sure how many lbs I Lost since I HATE scales and haven't weighed myself. but I have lost at least 1 dress size since April when I ordered my dress. when it came in June it was so big on me!!
My fittings don't start until 9/17, so I am certain I will lose even more by then.
I'm not worried, I am very pleased with my progress!
