Re: weight loss
I would like to loose a lot more than 10 lbs before my wedding. I actually started Jenny Craig about 3 weeks ago and have already lost 8 lbs, but I still have a bunch more to go....just happy to be going in the right direction!
I really is all about portion control and making smart decisions.

I switch between South Beach and Optifast - have had a lot of success with both.

IT'S A REALLY REALLY REALLY STRICT DIET - it's a liquid diet. You can't have anything at all, besides the shakes given to you by your doctor. You have to meet with your doctor every week to track your progress and to get more of the powder to make the shakes. You lose approximately 6-8 pounds per week. It's honestly really hardcore and you seriously have to have the discipline not to cheat.
In each shake that you mix with 8 fl oz of water, it provides you with all the nutrients you need survive, and your body basically lives off the fat (keytones) you have stored. It's a diet of about 800-600 calories, without the fat.

Thanks for the support, it is really slow process and is sometimes hard, but it will be worth it in the end!

Re: weight loss
I lost 14.4 lbs and FH lost 15.0 lbs on Weight Watchers it has been exactly 2 weeks today!
We are very dedicated. But we have a lot to lose so that is why we are losing a large amount in the beginning.

Re: weight loss
I want to lose about 50 lbs before the wedding. I just started working out several days a week, but I can't seem to stick to any diet for very long. My daily eating is fine. i can defintiely stick to a diet then. But then there's ging out here and goign out there and this special occasion and that...I don't know how to stop making exceptions and 'cheating'

Ultimate goal: 35 pounds Realistic goal: 25 And so far, I'm down 5. I'm doing pseudo Weight Watchers point plan and heating a lot more salads. I love it!

I am a fairly picky eater, and I really like the food! They have lots of stuff to choose from and after a while you just stick to your favorites. They have everything from pizza to chicken sandwichs to cheesecake and pasta.
The other thing I like about the plan is that there is no thought involved, just pop the food in the microwave and go. No point counting etc, so it works for me!

Re: weight loss
I have been on a Diet since January- I lost about 15 lbs already-
I am only 5'1- so that is really a lot for me
I have 3 more lbs to go-
I am down to a 2 or a 4- My Dress is HUGE on me-
I have just kind of been doing a common sense diet- it was more a lifestyle change for me plus I work out 4 days a week- weights and about 45 minutes of cardio
I start 'buff brides' next month for the last 3 months before the wedding
I tend to lose motivation after a while
Also I weigh myself every week and write it down- that way no denial!
