Weight loss challenge at work (VENT)

Soo...
I didnt even see Anney's post but did she win>????!!
Hoep She did!!!!!!

So just like her, they doing something like that now in my job...
But its not an individual challenge... its a group (5-7) challenge!!!

So i am ALL excited bc I want to do it... shoot that will encourageme SOO much...

Prizes:
Gift Cards/Tshirts/IPADS/discounts at WW, Jenny Craig, Nutrysistem/Donations to charity....

We dont get cash true but i would love the discounts for WW/Jenny Craig/Nutrysystem... and the Donation to a charity (if we win) will be amaazing!!!!
Ohh and an IPAD?!! would love it!!

But now the thing is is a challenge that las 11weeks...
So i am ready for it...
I have asked my coworkers to join me and this is their response
'Oh Sorry I dont want to disclosure my weight'
'OMG How dare them Why should I share that infor with u!!'

The weight information Will only be share with the team to see the improvemnts of the team and with the loca representative...

I am sorry if there are girls in here who dont like to say their weight but
OMG U KIDDING ME? ts only a NUMBER~!~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is a challenge n we get prizes for it! this is towards our OWN benefit!!!!!!!!!!
I so want to do this challenge and NO ONE WANTS TO DO IT bc they dont want to tell us how much they weifht!!!

I DONT CARE I CAN TELL THE WHOLE WORL I WEIGHT 143.2 Pounds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG Don't they know that it doesn't mean anything I am 130 and I have friends that when they are 130 look like they are 150

I am trying to explain that to them!

Its not like the WHOLE world will know it!
Its not that we will be show in TV and ppl will see it!!

Only 5 ppl will see it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG i want in but i need 5-7ppl!!!

Why couidlnt they do like Anney? and have an Individual challenge?

sorry V that people don't want to participate but i guess everyone has their own reasons. we have well over 100 people in our office and only 24 people participated and we did keep weight a secret. Just showed percentage lost

The ppl will know the percentage OF THE TEAM lost!!1 not the individual!!!

I wanna lose weight!!!

they will pay for a percentage of WW or Jenny craig or Nutry if we want to use it!!!!

why dont you send them a email saying how you would love to do this and it will help you be fit for the wedding..try pursuading them
