I think we should give one tip a day .. I guess I will start..
Eat what your a craving once a week.. exspecially the night /day you get weighed in... My Dh and I do this every wed. night and it helps with the cravings for the little things like Pizza, Ice cream..etc.. but make sure you are right back on track the next day!!

Re: Weight Loss Tip of the day
Eat smaller portions throughtout the day instead of sitting down to one large meal. That is when we tend to overeat
After each bite, rest your fork down
When you are eating try not to watch TV or read etc, we tend to over eat when we are distracted.
I look forward to seeing everyone's tip of the day

When you feel hungry, drink some water and wait a while. A lot of times you think you are hungry, when in reality most of us are slightly dehydrated.

Re: Weight Loss Tip of the day
I've been reading all your posts for inspiration for a little while now, so here's my tip......
If there's something bad I want to eat, I make my self wait 30 minutes or until after a meeting or something like that. Most of the time my urge to eat it or my craving has passed, and I don't end up eating it! This especially works well at the office. There's always some kind of food around, and if I wait long enough it's gone, and my choice is made for me. Like right now there is a box of Tim Bits (aka Munchkin's) calling my name :)

@ Jeng I agree with your post 100%
Walk away from the munchkins....everything in moderation tho' do not deny yourself what you want, eat 2 instead of the whole box

Re: Weight Loss Tip of the day
No.....I'm living in Buffalo. I've been here for almost 10 years, and Tim Horton's is just about on every corner around here.....just like in Canada.
And there are constantly donuts around my office, both from Tim Horton's and Krispy Creme!!!

If I have a craving and can get to the food- I try to walk out of the building and go for a walk! It's the only way for me

If you are craving something take some fresh veggies with you. Crunching on something can satisfy you.

Jen-n-Dale is right. Always carry some cut raw veggies in a bag with you or something to that effect (a WW bar or SOMETHING) so that you don't cave to temptation.....
One other tip: Land O'Lakes makes a fat free half and half that is 0 pts for like, 2 ozs.....

Re: Weight Loss Tip of the day
Here is one I have been using, I am a late night snacker- for some reason around 9-10p I get hungry and want to eat. Our leader told us that we should not eat 2 hours before going to bed if we can help it, so I have been having a cup of herbal tea to satisfy my sweet tooth. I got one of those variety packs, it has fruit teas that are really good. Plus, since the tea is hot, it takes longer to drink- by the time I am done w. it, my craving is usually gone. And the tea is 0 points (I dont put milk in).
