I've been doing really well with going on walks... I've been doing 3 miles 3X a week, and I'm really proud of myself. However, I'm trying to set a 'final' goal for myself, so I can break it into smaller goals on the way. I haven't been in the 'average weight range' since i was like 3, so I don't even know what that IS anymore. I googled it and I got some answers, but I just don't trust google as much as I trust people lol.
What would you say is an average weight range for a 5 foot 8 female? I want to KEEP my boobs & butt lol (well not all of the latter, but I don't want it to completely vanish either) Does 150 sound like a decent ultimate target?

Re: Weight Question
well it def also depends on ur bone structure and stuff.
my avg weight range is from 102-135 (i am 5'2')...for me, I will never be a 102 bc i dont have a tiny frame. I am healthy looking at about 115ish
so 150 sounds about right...if you have a large frame you might even be fine a little higher than that.

Re: Weight Question
I have a bunch of my WW material at home, and I can look at what their range is for your height if you want.
Keep in mind that their weight numbers for each height are kind of big. For example, I'm 5'3. I joined WW weighing 145; at that weight, I was considered to be within a target goal. But my frame is smaller (I'm kind of average-sized in regard to my frame)...for my height, the healthy range they advised was something like 117 - 145 (-ish). I tried to not focus on a particular number and celebrated the small 5-pound goals...once I got to about 130, I realized I was close to goal because I felt REALLY healthy. I set my goal right around that time...all the while I just gagued how I felt physically and once I felt really great, I set my goal.
Do you have insurance? If so, then I'd say to talk with your doctor. Don't get too stuck on a particular number; another suggestion I have is to take your measurements every couple of weeks. Even if the scale isn't moving, you will see a difference in your measurements.
Keep up the good work!

Re: Weight Question
keep loosing until u reach the weight u are happy with. set small goals every few months. baby steps are better than giant leaps when u are loosing weight. (my opinion). this morning i clocked in at 140. im 5'7. when i tell ppl im 140 they laugh and say yea right. they think im 125ish. i used to be 155, and dropped to 135 but no1 noticed. there isnt a 'set weight' to go with ur height. every1 is built differently
just make small goals and loose until you are happy.

Thanks for all the advice ladies! And I do have insurance, I am just PETRIFIED of doctors, dentists, ERs, anything involving doctors. So if I can find something out without going to one, I generally do lol

ITA! Weight is just a number, you should feel good about yourself.
