Re: Weight Watchers
YES!! I am a big advocate as I had tried many diets over the years and WW was the only thing that worked. I lost in total 45 pounds and have been able to keep it off for the past 5 years. Going to meetings is totally up to you and how you deal with dieting. It's really a support system. I wound up going to one meeting to see what it was about but I had friends help me along the way and they were my support system so I didn't need the meetings.

WW is awesome. I do it online and don't go to meetings. If you count your points and follow the program with regular excersice, it will work. Counting points will become addicting and once you see how many points your favorite foods are, u'll lose your appetite lol

I tried ww several years ago and it worked for me, don't remember the exact pounds lost. I basically ate their frozen meals cuz it was easier and I may go on it again

Re: Weight Watchers
I am currently on WW and lost a total of 36 pounds, I gained a few back, but the program really works. i attend the meetings and they help me, plus you get ideas on food recipes, snacks and other things that go on in your daily life!
Just plan your days, don't deprive yourself and potion all things out!

WW is amazing and IMO you must attend the meetings. The fact that you and FH are doing it together is soooo great! You must 'track' your points and the leaders at WW will teach you all about it, plus you can ask me anything! I go Tuesday nights in Carle Place, come!!!

This is the only diet that works for me and makes sense!! It probably one of the healthiest ones for you to be on too.

100% Agree!!! It's not even a 'diet', it's a way of life!

Eunice, I have struggled for so long w my weight, i had done WW years ago and did lose, but gained it back and then some. I started b/c of Courtz and I go every Tuesday in Carle Place with her. This is my third week and fh might come today to weigh in.
I thought i could never get it, and i believe I am. I have given up all fast food!

Thanks Kat! I'm soooo tired of feeling like this! I'm hoping WW has the structure I need without the restrictions of 'diets'.. I can't go to Carle Place because of class but I'm def gonna join. Thanks ladies!!!!!!!!

Re: Weight Watchers
my parents have been on it for the past 2-3years... my father lost like 90-somethin pounds and my mom is 76 pounds lighter. Meanwhile my father does NOT exercise at all! so not fair! but yea, it works. you just have to make good choices and portion control.
