Re: Weight Watchers help

I go to meetings because they weigh you and it keeps you honest. It helps to know that I am going to walk in there and get weighed and you want that number to go down! Also, there are people in the room who are all going through the same thing you are. They share food ideas which are so helpful!

The Flex Plan is your points. Depending on your weight, level of activity and a couple other things you are given a number of points. Depending on the Calories/Fat/Fiber numbers in the food they have a points value. You can eat your points plus an extra 35 for the week. You can eat anything you want, just write it down and keep track.

The Core Plan is certain foods are core and you can eat whatever you want and as much of it as you want, until you feel satisfied. It's all about reading your body and how you feel. You also get your extra 35 points for the week.

Those are very quick descriptions of the plans. I am on flex so I know more about that one. I have lost almost 15 pounds already and I feel great!

If you want to know anything else just ask! Good luck!!

I do the flex plan also and it works really great because it really helps keep you on track with what you're eating throughout the day. As far as the meetings go, I've been to one meeting and didnt really find it all that helpful. I weigh myself at home every week to keep track of the weight loss. FH is doing WW also so we keep each other motivated. If you have someone else doing the diet with you it makes it easier b/c you keep each other focused. Good luck with it! Its a great diet and definitely works!
