Re: weight watchers trouble..
Don;t worry. Really it is sooooo much easier for guys to lose weight. I don't know why but it is. Just remember the longer it takes to come off the longer it stays off.

Well, first, you have to realize that men lose weight so much easier and quicker than women do!!! FH lost 5 lbs in a week.... and I stayed the same. We ate almost the same things all week...... it does stink.
And, w/o working out, it's not going to come off as fast. One of the best things you can do is just go for a walk..... I've been dying to, but, it's been raining..... even for 20 minutes a couple times a week.... it'll help.

Remember to eat all your points, if you don't you won't lose. Also drink TONS of water. Good Luck!!!! And don't worry about him losing more then you, guys ALWAYS lose weight faster without trying as hard.

Also, you might start off slow, then one week you could lose like 6 lbs. Our bodies are crazy like that. I highly recommend that you write down every little thing you eat. That really worked for me. I am now at 25 lbs. I lose very little now, but Im maintaining. Trust me, stick with it, and think of your FH's weight loss as motivation. Men do lose quicker because they have more muscle mass which allows them to burn calories quicker. Be happy every time you get on the scale and its lower, no matter how much! Congratulations!

Re: weight watchers trouble..
I am going to start up again with WW (i did it a few years ago). The best thing I could say is just keep measuring everything and make sure you keep track of what you eat. If you do have sweets try to save it for 1 or 2 days (maybe the weekends), try not everyday. I hate exercise too but when I went with FH it wasnt so bad-another thing I have to get back into doing. I am not motivated. Maybe while its still nice out walk on the boardwalk, thats exercise (if you live near the beach).
Everyone looses weight differently, b/c you lost less doesn't mean you arent doing it right! GL!!

Re: weight watchers trouble..
**Drink water only. **When you buy packaged food (snacks) immediately portion them out to a serving size (that way when you want to have a snack, you don't eyeball the serving size..) **Save your 'treat' for right after you weight in. Some people might think this is really bad advice but I don't care... it worked for me. My 'treat' was usually Taco Bell (I know, gross) or Ben & Jerry's. For me, it motivated me to work hard all week and then have a reward after I weighed in. If I didn't loose anything that week, I wouldn't have a treat. **Enjoy what you eat! Dieting takes a lot of time and effort. Invest in the WW cookbook to find new ideas of how to make a points/WW friendly meal... even Rachel Ray cookbooks are, for the most part, pretty good. **I hate to excersize! You're lucky though because you have an FH to excersize with you... even if it's taking a quick walk after dinner... every little bit helps. Even when you're watching TV, do some sit ups or leg lifts or take a can of soup and start lifting it while you're channel surfing... it may be minimal but it's better than nothing. **Look for foods that are higher in fiber. They fill you up faster and typically have fewer points. **When you FEEL hungry... take a sip of water. Chances are that you're actually thirsty, not hungry. **Have gum around... It helps... trust me!
Good luck... and remember, it's so much harder to take the weight off than it is to put on but once you see a diffrence, that will be a huge motivating factor (for me, it was when I was able to see more definition in my collar bones... weird I know, but it pushed me). Also remember... every 10lbs is ONE dress size!!!!

OK... 3oz. of Chicken that's breaded and fried (essentially Chicken fingers) is 7 pts. 3 oz. of chicken is practically NOTHING ().
Here's another tip... a lot of points can be cut with condiments... watch what you're dipping your food into.
Sign up to get daily e-mails from Hungry Girl (LINK)... she has GREAT tips and is totally WW friendly!

Re: weight watchers trouble..
you just have to keep at it, that really all you can do. it kinda ***** that weight doesn't come off as easily as it goes on. Trust me i know! lots of water, exercise and just stay positive. and don't compare yourself to your FH guys and weightloss is deadly to a womans diet.
Keep it up!!!!
