We have a lot of family and they are practically all females! Is it nuts to have an all female bridal party except for the best man and ring bearer? My mom thinks having a BP of 10 females and two males is a bad idea and says it will take away from me but I don't think that's true. I've been to a wedding with a bridal party of 20 so there were 10 females in that.
Any thoughts?

I went to a wedding recently that there were no bridesmaids only a MOH and about 6-7 groomsmen.. FH doesnt have any friends and/or family that we would want to be his groomsmen?

Friends but no family and where it stands now with just family and one of my friends we are at 12... we really didn't want a big BP and we are worried about adding a bunch of his male friends and me not asking my female friends (some are married to the male friends).

I think it's fine.
The best man will already be up front and the BM's can walk up alone.
Do what makes YOU happy. It's basically impossible to steal the show from the glowing girl in the big white dress:)

Yeah I know where you're coming from... somehow someones feelings always end up hurt! most important is this is YOUR day do what makes YOU happy!

FH and I have an uneven bridal party. This is YOUR wedding day and these will be YOUR wedding pictures. You have to do what makes you and FH happy.

i have *drumroll* 1 MOH 1 Best man 9 BM 9 GM 2 JR BM 3 FG 1 RB (plus me and fh) 26 total
so no...not crazy

I say, do what makes you happy. If you want all of the females in your life then you do it. The photographer will make the photos look amazing so don't worry, and the eyes are always on the Bride anyway!

i dont think it's a problem or weird at all
i was in a BP once where there was a best man, a ringbearer and 4 BMs and 2 MOHs and a FG.

i think its fine. men have kings party weddings where there is all groomsmen and one moh. i went to one over the summer.

Okay thanks guys... I know we should do what we want since it's our day but still, I guess it would bother me if people thought it was horrible. So be honest if you think it would be terrible!

100% do what you and FH want! Based on personal experience from weddings I've been in as well as my own wedding, I always find it really fun when the BMs and GMs hang out and get all pumped up! There is a really fun energy when the closest women in your life hang out with your FHs closest guys.
But honestly, it sounds like this is what works best for you guys and there will FOR SURE be a great energy with your bridal party!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had the BEST time ever getting ready at my parents house with my 7 BMs, my cousins, my aunt and my mom - LOTS OF LADIES!! haha
