In my dream, I had bought sonogram equipment for my aunt, who is TTC (weird I know), but decided that before I gave it to her, I would try it on myself so I could see what an empty uterus looked like first. Well, I hooked it up and to my surprise I saw two little shrimp-like things with pulsing heart beats on the TV!! It was so bizarre, I was pregnant with twins!!! We were staying at the Plaza for some reason and I saw my DH leaving and he kept saying he needed to go out to have a drink and I kept telling him I needed to talk to him. I ended up yelling I think I'm pregnant! on the stairs of the Plaza. then we went upstairs and looked at the sonogram and you could see everything, the babies' faces, hands, etc.
It was so vivid, but I was so upset in my dream because I knew it wasn't the right time for us. What a freaky dream!

But I don't have any anxiety...I even just learned how to do a stockinette stitch and I've just started making a hat!

It was just a dream - you might have Baby on the brain and it's just wormed it's way into your dreaming! I've had really vivid pregnancy dreams like that too - it is a little unnerving, especially when you remember everythign so clearly that you think it was real! The wierdest dream ever was when I was in high school. In my dream I was alone, standing in the dining room of my old house and I was holding a baby. Except, the baby was ME as an infant!!! It was so strange looking down at my own face as a baby, I woke up with the chills! Better dreams for you tonight, I hope!

are you using a loom or circular needles and knitting in the round?

Maybe the knitting is bringing out a maternal instinct.
I just started a hat last night, too!!
Then I tried it (well, the first 2 inches of it) and realized it will be tight. I pulled it out and will cast on 4 more stitches this time

No, just regular needles...but it said to cast on 99 for a 3-5 year old's head, or 111-123 for an older child...But I can only fit about 99 stitches on my needle at once, so unless you have a 3 year old's head..... Although, you are very tiny...but you do have all that hair

No, just regular needles...but it said to cast on 99 for a 3-5 year old's head, or 111-123 for an older child...But I can only fit about 99 stitches on my needle at once, so unless you have a 3 year old's head..... Although, you are very tiny...but you do have all that hair
even when I was a 3-year-old I didn't have a 3-year-old sized head! My head is ginormous!
