I've been toying with different favor ideas, and one idea was to have our monogram in solid chocolate. I looked online and found places that could probably do it for like 5-6 each, which I thought was a little high.
Since I do chocolate stuff myself, yesterday I went to the chocolate store to ask about having a custom mold made.
The lady at the counter was RIDICULOUS! She was like 'Well that sounds like a waste of money. Most people just leave their favors on the table, and you'll be left with so many'.
Thanks for your help lady! I guess you DON'T want my business. I was just totally shocked at her attitude and response.

I have been going back and forth with favors. At first i was going to DIY but decided thats not something i want to do on my wedding weekend. I went to The Little Candy Cake Company in Huntington and decided that i am getting our picture on chocolate dipped graham crackers. They are packaged with 2 or 4 in a box, nice size, see through box so the top cookie will have your design on it. They can put a monogram on it. They really are cute and taste good. They were helpful and are making 5 samples of different favors so i can decide what i like best.....just an idea

try the chocolate duck in farmingdale...... if you cant do it your self my mom said that she would do something and work out a price... we would just need a mold. FM me if you want

So wrong! She should have just given you a price and called it a day! You didn't ask for her opinion!!
