Weird Info I learned about my shower...

I'm not sure how I feel about this...

I've posted quite a few times about how my BP don't love each other (specifically my MOH and my FSIL). They are both loud and don't hesitate to say it like it is, and they are both stubborn and think they are right. Anyway... my MOH tends to be the one who will 'cave' on things first, in order to avoid drama.

We were talking yesterday very generally about my shower (I still know nothing) and she was like, 'I'll tell you right now, you're shower is nothing like what I would've wanted to do for you.' Ok, HUH?! I asked her if she attempted to tell FSIL and the other BMs that SHE is the MOH and her ideas need to be listened to. She told me she did, but I guess she ended up caving on things? I don't know. I sort of got the impression that maybe my shower is taking place AT FSIL's house and that is why my MOH felt she had to give in on things since it wasn't on her turf, if that makes sense.

My MOH says she's fine about it now (I guess when it first happened she was pissed, as she would have a right to be), and she knows my shower will be perfect and a great time. I am glad she's okay with it but I'm not sure that I am? I don't know, its just weird so I felt like venting it out to you girls

Trust me - I had MAJOR anxiety about my shower b/c I heard about nothing but drama between by bridal party and it turned out PERFECT!!!!!

Tell your MOH to keep her feelings about the shower to herself - it will only cause you unnecessary stress.

Let your MOH and FSIL battle it out without getting you in the middle - after your wedding they'll prob never have to deal with each other again...

Your shower will be better than you could have imagined!!!

so sorry you have to go through this. i am also having major BP/in-law problems. wedding planning in general brings the fugly out in people, so just vent as much as you want here and hope that after the wedding everyone will morph back into their usual selves

It really sux when the BP don't get along...I'm kind of going through that now. My MOH is my sister and I feel badly that she has to deal w/ all this, but I'm just hoping that while they may not get along w/ each other, they all get along w/ me so hopefully everyone is mature enough to get passed each other and just enjoy and share this time w/ me...

And I know the same will hold true for you as well
