You Italian brunettes will appreciate this... anyone ever bleach their side-burns? Ya know, that annoying peach fuzzy hair that you can't cut but won't stay combed back...? I am so used to it that I didn't think anything of it when having my hair done but now that I see my pictures I am like, OMG! I hope that can be airbrushed!!! Horrifying.

I know someone who had it laserly removed...if you can't afford that find a threading place and get it threaded. There is a really good place in Midtown Manhattan....let me know if you want the info and I'll call my friend.

OMG I got my eyebrows threaded once and I cannot say HOLY OUCH enough!!!! I can take pain but that was sheer torture. Yikes! How much does that laser procedure go for?

A girlfriend of mine has had the laser procudure. But I believe it takes more than one visit.

If you have to get threaded or waxed I just recently read an article that says you should go right before you get your 'Aunt Flo' because your hormones are raging and therefore you are better able to deal with the pain. I think they are right, I have been tryign to go at that time but I was suppose to get a makeup trial done on SAturday so I went Friday and YIKES... pain... normally if I time it right it doesn't.
Sorry if TMI thought it might help with the pain.

My MOH is also doing the laser treatment in that area.... it's going to take like 7 or 8 sessions (I think) and its around $200 per session.

Don't bleach!!!!!!!!!!!! i used to know a girl who did it, and it looked terrible. You could totally tell that it had been lightedned. I have the same problem, I didn't know how to deal with it though.
For the girls who have gotten it threaded, how does it grow back in? Same, worse?

I know... but to her she said it's worth it because then it's gone permanently. You might need a one session touch up every few years but other than that, it's pretty permanent so I guess if you add up the cost of waxing or bleaching or whatever over the years (not to mention the hassle of it) it turns out to be worth it.
