Weird Question

Sorry about this question, but Im just wondering if anyone has developed a yeast infection a week before their wedding?

I have noticed that I have one and I have already taken the yeast infection pills. I took one on saturday and it didnt seem to work so I took another yesterday.

I think I got it from stress, I dont feel stress, but I guess my body is stress

Has this happened to anyone else... I would hate for this to ruin our honeymoon

Get the topicals (they have some that work in 3 days!) and also give your doc a call. It should clear up in time!

I hope it goes away and doesn't ruin your honeymoon! I'm sure you know this but I will tell you anyway....DO NOT douche because that does more harm than good and also it may sound crazy but go to a drug store and get a bottle of betadine solution and put some on toilet paper or cotton balls and constantly wipe yourself with it....wear a panty liner so you don't satin your undies....hope it helps....P.S. Im not crazy....I'm in the medical field

Definately stress- I get them anytime that I am stressed out- the topicals are great- but I would call the doctor since its your wedding.,

what is betadine solution and what does it acutally do?

If i call the doctor she is going to give me the same pill that I have been taking. Its either 2 things, stress or the birth control pills Im taking. I might just try to topical instead i also have been taking these pills called AZO yeast for yeast infections.

It doesnt itch like before but still feels alittle sensative when I wipe, so maybe its clearing up, I took the pill last night and it says it takes about 24 hours to kick in

I would go to the doctor too... I had that happen, thought it was a yeast infection and it wound up being a bacterial infection that i needed antibiotics for... don't take a chance, if he gives you the same pills then at least you know you were right, but maybe he will give you a cream or find out it is something else. FEEL BETTER!

If you go to the doctor, ask her to do a culture. Then they can know if it is yeast or not. Hope you feel better!

Ditto...betadine is great for it and you can douche with it too. It get rid of the yeast, but call your doctor first.

Definitely see your doctor. Their are different types of yeast and the OTC creams don't kill them all. Your GYN can prescribe you creams as well as pills. Also start taking acidophilus pills, they are amazing.

I just bought the acidophilus pills, I've never tried them before but I hope it helps. I see a big different now since I took the yeast infection pill that my doctor prescribes for me.
