So we went met with LI Sound for the second time to meet with Chris (the owner), finalize a package and leave the deposit. After we left I realized that he took all our info, spent an hour going over things to get us in our price range, took our deposit but never looked in the book to make sure our date was available. So now I'm wondering if he just knew that it wasn't booked or thought Scott who we met with last time wrote it down. hmmm .. I'm a little embarrassed to call because i dont' want them to think i dont' trust them but if i let it go it could cause a huge problem in the end. what would you guys do??

Re: weird question
Maybe since this was your second visit, he knew the date was available. I don't think they would have done a follow up visit if it wasn't. If you're still worried you should definitely call.

Re: weird question
They have so many different DJ/MC that I'm sure that they have the date available. THey are a big company! I wouldn't worry!... But now that I think about it, when I booked he didn't look in the book either!

Re: weird question
I'd definitely call and check. Our DJ company has a bunch of djs/mcs but we specifically booked with one guy, and the day before the wedding (on my way to our rehearsal!) I got a call saying he was double booked and couldn't do our wedding.
Despite giving me a stroke, it ended up working out in the end, we were compensated (we actually ended up liking the new MC even better) and made SURE to be on top of their game for the wedding, and I still was happy with them after all was said and done but I would not hesitate to call and check!! Sometimes more people working for a company miscommunication happens...

i would definitely call. don't worry about offending them- i would rather that than have them double book
