Im on Yaz right now...and have been on for a while....i think its time to switch it up...cause i am having some side effects here...and FH is not liking it. lol.
What are you girls on??? Any suggestions?

I'm on Seasonique.. some girls get breakthrough bleeding on it, you're only supposed to get your period every 3 months, but it's my best bet to treat my endometriosis. And I very rarely get the bleeding.
FH loves not having to worry about my period

Tri-Sprintec. It's the generic of Ortho-Tri-Cyclen. The only side effect it ever gave me was shorter periods and less cramping. Love it!

I was on Yaz for 2 years....I had every side effect in the book...it was horrible lol took me 6 months just to 'detox' and feel normal again!

not on any. condoms is what we've been using because I get really bad reactions from any BC pills I used to take...Once I get married, I may get one of those IUDs or try out Depo-Provera or Seasonique...

I totally agree on the side effects. I started Tri-Sprintec this year and I love it.

I was on Yasmine and started having bad side effects like heart palpitations and dehydration.....I found out that some serious side effects were heart attacks and high potassium in the blood.......when I said it to my gyno he told me that many women have been complaining lately about Yaz and Yazmine......
I also tried Seasonique, but my hair started to fall out and I couldn't have that...can you imagine me being bald for my wedding?

I totally agree on the side effects. I started Tri-Sprintec this year and I love it.
Same. I've been ortho lo for 6 years and just started Tri-Sprintec since it's the generic. Seems to be working the same.

i used Ortho Evra Patch for 5.5 years. i liked it because of the convenience. however, i do believe it was causing me extremely bad migraines regularly. being a migraine sufferer having additional ones weren't working out too well.
i just started my second pack of Ortho-Tri-Cyclen Lo. so far i really like it. the only thing i don't like is having to take a pill everyday at the same time.

IUD.. Mirena...It is GREAT!!! I LOVE it! It is good for 5yrs. Or can be removed before that if children are desired.
The BEST part is that periods eventually stop..Iv'e had mine for 3yrs and get my period about 2x year and it is very light and lasts for 2-3 days.
