So, I have been peeking at my registry, and I noticed this plate set that I do not remember picking out. I got nervous and thought that maybe we added something we did not want by mistake. A set was purchased. So, I took a closer look and it says '0 requested, 1 purchased.' Does anyone know how something I did not request shows up? I am wondering if someone just decided to buy it for us, how would it become connected with our registry? Any ideas? TIA!
Im not sure why but something similar happened on mine. It was an item that I wanted but only 1 of and whoever it was bought 2. So it says requested 1, purchased 2. weird!!

yea that happened to me with a knife set..it could be 1 of 2 things...
1 - they bought it for you while they were buying other stuff from your registry and it added it on..maybe they thought you'd like it...
or
2 - it was really for them but while they were shopping for you and they cashier was scanning the stuff from your registry, they scanned the other stuff as well...thats prob what it is![]()

same thing happened to a friend of mine...only thing is she ended up with tampons and hairspray lol![]()
Yeah, BBB does this...they haven't evolved their bar code system. We ended up getting a rubber mat for under an area carpet added onto ours...and I bought for my friend's shower the other day, and even though the cashier SWORE only what was purchased from her registry would show up and not the other purchases (i told her the story), sure enough when I went home to check for kicks and giggles, the additional gift card and Stoli 9 piece gift set showed up! My poor friend is going to be so disappointed LOL.

What happened to me so far was that my FMIL bought me something that was NOT on my registry, but she thought it was. It showed up on my registry eventhough I didnt want one. I didnt want to hurt her feelings, so I went back into my registry and added it 'AS IF' I did want one. What prob happened is that someone bought the wrong set, thinking it was the right one..... sorry.... but the same thing happened to me.... and it ended up being that she bought me the wrong item.![]()
