weird/ sad story *update*

this afternoon i accidentally broke a vase that i got from my nana's house after she died. i was so sad because that's all that i have of her (besides my memories of course)

i called billy devastated and we were talking about her he said that it was her way of saying hello! i'm here with you! i then remembered the post this morning and thought how strange that is...

so this morning i answered the question of the day about your role models (i'm quoting myself here)

'my grandparents were just amazing... raising 9 children, owning two businesses together, and later in life, traveling the world.'

she was always a more rough and gruff lady, so maybe it really was her saying hi!

even weirder, i went onto ebay and i found the exact vase (and its really unique)

so my FH comes home and i was on the phone, so he kissed me and went into the other room. once i got off i go and he's laying on the ground in the bathroom gluing the vase back together. he went out and bought crazy glue after work and is fixing it for me!

he's just the sweetest thing in the world!!

haha now what am i going to do with two vases?! give it to my granddaughter and tell her the story of how wonderful her grandfather is!

I don't believe in coincidences....I think it is your grandmother saying hi!

Aww, sorry you broke it. Maybe you can make a stained glass looking picture frame out of the pieces and put a picture of the two of you in it.

it's not clear glass... it's a belleek irish vase, but i loove that idea!! i'll see what i can make with it!
