That's bizarre...I got my birth certificate back in the mail today, BEFORE I received my passport. I heard that sometimes it comes separately, but usually a few days trailing the passport, not before. I know they cashed my checks like asap, so I'm sure I'll get it Monday or Tuesday, but did that happen to anyone else where the order was reversed?

yup - happened to 2 people I work with, birth certificates back before they received passports. Don't stress over it.
FH got his passport and then 2 days later his birth certificate.
That's what happens when you deal with the government!

I'm working on it...figured I need to get my ducks in a row either way. Going to go to a TA in a few, just to see if they can match a price i found online...with all the stuff going on with FFIL I've kind of been walking on eggshells around FH with anything wedding related, because it sets him off. So hopefully it will work out, because I can only get this price for another week and change.

They told fh he would probably get his bc back first but so far he hasn't gotten either back!
