Weirdest Olympic Sport

Which one do you think fits the category best? I have to say ping pong.

Trampoline, badmition, syncro swimming,ping pong and I have to include the race walking events. Now I enjoy watching them, but I just don't understand alot of it.

I think it is called speed walking. It is basically like track from what I have seen(usually distances like 1500m and up), but instead of running they are walking really fast and looking extremly awkward in the process. Who knew that walking could get you an Olympic medal?

equestrian, I mean the horse should get the medal because it does all the work

I think the trampoline has to be the weirdest to me. I see kids jumping around on them in their backyard, never really thought of it as a competitive sport though!!

I used to do track and field... race walking is very hard actually. They walk awkward because they have to keep one foot on the ground at all times.I would rather run5 miles than racewalk one mile.

Sorry Aga....I assume you have never really ridden a horse. The person astride has to be a very fit individual because it is very difficult to ride over 12 to 15 jumps that are 5' to 5'6' in height without asking the horse to do so. Do you think a horse wants to do that himself or even has that thought in his head?

I personally know two of the Olympic riders in show jumping, and I think they would agree with me. It is the only discipline where two are competing as a true team.

I think synchronized diving wins the title.......

sure but is the horse the one that wants to be in olympics?
