Weirdness when you recognize an anonymous poster on a wedding board...

I was just on another wedding board (which BTW is no where near as great as LIW) and I saw a post that looked interesting so I went to the girl's profile, and after skimming it for about 10 seconds realized it was a girl I went to high school with who lives in Boston. It was so weird to read this stuff she wrote, about how insecure she is because her FH's ex was apparently skinny. Geez, I even read about her trying on gowns and she said her cup size!

Have you ever recognized anyone?

Actually I have to reply again and say... 3 people on here.. all 3 = disaster!!!... One in particular is so bad I have to hide so she doesn't recognize me.

I COMPLETELY ACCIDENTLY came across my High School Boyfriend's fiance....the only reason this happened is b/c she responded to one of my posts, used his last name in her username, and had a pic of him in her profile.

Of Course, I kept this to myself...until now

I know that a girl that I've known since elementary school was an 08 bride, but I forgot her sn and I don't think I ever saw her pics...and my friend is on, but she doesn't post, probably just read me talking about what to wear for her shower sunday, wooops.

In any event, I feel it would probably be more the opposite, people hiding from ME than vice versa lol.

OMG I haven't ever recognized an anon. poster! I don't think I'd want to know either (most of the time!).

I saw a picture of a name card that had mine and FH's name on it! I was like ***!!! Did a little searching and found the person. It was a co-worker for FH's. We went to their wedding and she used the pro pic of the place cards with our name. Too funny! I contacted her. It was no big deal.

I found the FW (now DW) of someone I went to high school with, the younger sister of a friend from high school, and a woman I work with. All non weird (at least I hope so! I don't want to come off as a stalker!)
