I was just having lunch - a lentil/wild rice/baby spinach/roasted pepper salad in an effort to reclaim my girlish figure from the evil Roman restaurantuers!
Rome was wonderful...if not a little MAD!!! WE arrived on Saturday evening, went out to get something to eat and came back, turning on the TV just minutes before the Pope passed away. So we just looked at each other and said Let's Go! We walked up to the Vatican and it was pretty wild. Although, that was the last time we were able to get into Saint Peter's Square the whole time we were there. It was just RAMMED!!!
Anyway, here are some pics from that first night. Definitely an experience!!!
