Welcome Back to 1985
My MIL called and offered me her bedroom set because she just bought a new one.
Rob and I don't currently have a bedroom set because I haven't wanted to throw money toward a room that really only sees he and I while we are sleeping... or doing other things where the surroundings don't matter so much to me.
Anyhow, I thought it would be nice to have a night table again since I have a bad habit of sometimes putting my glass of water on the floor next to the bed. So I asked Rob what her bedroom set looks like.
Black Italian Lacquer baby. Complete with the round mirrors and the shiny pulls.
First impulse - NO EFFING WAY.
But now I think I may just create a homage to the '80's in our bedroom. My currently almond walls will no longer work... what do you guys think of neon stripes? Maybe a giant poster that says RELAX?
